Pallet Control
The transfer and control of third party pallet hire is a major concern and risk area to senders of freight. Toll SPD does not provide a Chep or Loscam pallet exchange service at the point of pick up.

Load Restraint and Dunnage
Our customer guidelines for transport loading provide helpful hints for the packaging and preparation of consignments for transportation. We strongly recommend that all customers seek professional assistance when determining their loading packaging requirements, to minimise the risk of damage to their product. Auxiliary equipment including plywood, dogs and chains and load restraint equipment is offered by Toll SPD. This is a key area in our operational engagement with our customers.

Rail Equipment
Toll SPD has 14 different rail equipment specifications covering different distribution requirements of our customers. This includes high cube 48 foot rail containers to half height rail containers for more dense freight. We are also one of the major participants in the movement of bulk commodity through customised rail bulk containers.
